Nophar Chaya Gat

Nophar is a multidisciplinary artist, influenced by pop art, Japanese art, and modern art.

Her gallery displays paintings, exhibits and various design and fashion elements made from a wide variety of materials in a range of shades and colors, although she usually prefers to define her works implementing bright and vivid colors.

Nophar holds a bachelor's degree in neuroscience and philosophy and a master's degree in mathematics and teaching.

She studied philosophy at Ben-Gurion University and was a mathematics teacher for many years.

Nophar moved to the Arava in 2017 after having lived in Be'er Sheva for many years, where as a child she spent most of her time in Rehovot.

Nophar invests in trying to combine her love of art with her love of philosophy and math.
In Studio Hanania you will find a gallery shop of the artist's paintings, and a second-hand clothing store that has been “upcycled” and dyed using special and professional techniques. The studio offers workshops for painting on shirts using special textile colors as well as workshops for abstract painting on recycled canvases.
