'Ashosh, Desert Gallery' is a contemporary art gallery, which was founded in May 2021 in the artists' village in the town of Zuqim in the Middle Arava and is named after the nearby wadi.

At the initiative of a small team of volunteers and thanks to a donation from the Vidor family from Sydney, Australia (JNF Australia), the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Agriculture, the JNF and the Dead Sea Protection Society, the space has been transformed from an abandoned military base into a meticulous gallery. Living example for " …and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks" (Isaiah 2). 'Ashosh Gallery' presents exchanging exhibitions of Israeli and international art, with an affinity for local materials and a vision to connect people through art, an oasis of ideas and creativity.

In the gallery shop, which also includes a cafe, you can be impressed and purchase from the selection of works of art by the village artists as well as coordinate tours, lectures, and workshops.
