Aviad Bar

Aviad Bar was born in 1978 in Petach Tikva. A decade of travel abroad propelled him to document his journeys, and his skills evolved naturally with the experience. “I am not a photographer; I simply take pictures...that’s how I see it. I am inspired by the photographic work of my good friends. From dance to architecture and even landscapes—they are all my muses,” he replies when asked. Aviad lives in Zuqim and recently renovated his studio in the artists’ colony, where he will display his personal view of desert landscapes and nature’s encounter with man. He takes still photographs with various devices—from an iPhone or small Canon to a professional drone. His vertical photographs allow him to document the lighting as it changes throughout the day, presenting unfamiliar angles from a bird’s-eye view.
