Sculptor and Amateur Photographer.

Andre, born and raised in the Netherlands, in a small village surrounded by forests is a certified therapist in the field of gardening therapy, herbalist and former pharmacist.

Today he lives in the heart of the desert, וn Zuqim, in the Arava. He is a nature lover, connects to the environment and animals and draws inspiration from past and present.

"Creating is an essential part of my life. I have a passion for exploring and revealing new ways of expression, emotional connection to materials and creating another dimension of

beauty." His inspiration is kindled mainly by nature and the inanimate of the desert, where he also finds the raw materials for his creations.

Andre uses a unique technique using iron and copper and implementing welding and winding, challenging the materials and himself.

The sculptures are made of hard materials and at the same time convey softness and flexibility. Andre uses materials such as stone, copper, iron, driftwood, old machine parts and tools for his sculptures.

To complement his creations, Andre loves to photograph his works against the backdrop of the arid and inspiring desert landscapes
